Rest. – Life can get very busy, particularly when you’re trying to be of service to the people around you. When you least feel that you can take a break, that is the very moment pausing for a deep breath will be the very best thing to do. Or better yet, try lying down in savasana for 5 or 10 or 30 minutes (set a timer so you can relax completely) and indulging in a full body scan and some rest, right in the middle of the day. Savasana is not just for the end of a yoga practice but anytime you need to let your heart and spirit catch up with what you’re demanding of your body and mind.
